The Sharp Vision Edge OLT is a TEC-approved Optical Line Terminal designed for MSO, LCO, and ISP head-end applications, delivering high-speed, reliable fiber connectivity for next-generation broadband networks. Operating with 1490nm downstream transmission and 1310nm upstream reception, each OLT port can serve up to 64 subscribers within 20 km through optical splitters.
Built with dual EPON/GPON technology, the Edge OLT ensures seamless interoperability and flexibility across different network setups. It features advanced user identification and bandwidth allocation, allowing network profiles to be configured for each ONU (Optical Network Unit). This enables ISPs to provide customized services, efficient bandwidth management, and improved customer experiences.
